New Member Orientation

New REALTORĀ® members are asked to complete the online Orientation with 30 days of membership to avoid any disruption in services.

Code of Ethics Training - the cornerstone of REALTOR® Membership is the training and commitment the REALTOR® Code of Ethics as required by NAR. Embrace your ethical duties to clients, the public and REALTORS®, fulfill the REALTOR® Code of Ethics requirement.

The Code of Ethics requirement must be completed prior to attending New Member Orientation.

Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI Designation)

OnLine Ed Pre-Licensing Classes

Invest 12 days in yourself and your career to potentially double your income! Each GRI class is $149. Register for the entire series of 12 classes for $1,625 and save $163.00.

The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is one of the most recognized designations in the real estate industry. The GRI is a 92-hour program that provides the real estate tools and knowledge for REALTORS® to meet the 21st century.

Here are just a few of the reasons why you should get a GRI:

  • Obtain invaluable education for business planning, increase your competence, and improve your income potential.
  • Learn what your broker doesn't have time to teach you.
  • Earning credits toward the GRI satisfies continuing education requirements.
  • You will be able to use the GRI designation after your name, wear the GRI pin, display the GRI certificate, and put the logo on business cards and stationery, communicating your dedication, knowledge, and professional achievement.

The GRI symbol is recognized nationwide, showing buyers, sellers and other real estate professionals that you are a true professional and have a solid grasp of real estate fundamentals.

By completing the GRI series you will receive 92 hours of continuing education credit, including all mandated courses. Credits are as follows:

  • 64 hours of Consumer Protection credit
  • 8 hours of Consumer Service credit
  • 20 hours of the DRE mandated Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund, Fair Housing, and Risk Management credits

Real Estate Pre-License

Those looking to become California real estate agents need to take the 135 hour Pre-License course. Components of this course can also be purchased individually.
